Feminism in today's world

No one is born a woman
But rather becomes one"
                                     - Simone Debeauviours

Basically it means both men and women are born equal but society makes us unequal .
Let's began with the word Feminism, what Feminism is all about:-
-Is Feminism against the institution of marriage?
-Is Feminism about hating masculinity?
-Is Feminism about becoming superior than men?
Actually Feminism is very liberating idea it is asking for equality between all genders, equality of rights and entitlements, equality in our gender roles inside the house and outside the house. Our society see two dimensions of  everything for instance male - female, boy- girl, good- bad, beautiful- ugly, etc we see everything on the basis of masculinity and femininity, now it's time to change this viewpoint . We should start seeing things in third perspective also .
Feminism is a movement which seeks for equality or believes in equality among all genders. Let's have a look in the history of Feminism. The meaning and belief of Feminism is kept on changing acc. to changing times. Earlier Feminism was different and now at present it is different from that one. The word Feminism is same but it's meaning and concept is evolved acc. to time.
Earlier the word Feminism includes women and their demands for political rights and equality like there are four-waves of Feminism. First and second wave of femenism movement demanded women's rights and equality that is social, economic, political, etc but third wave of Feminism was quite different, it's about transgenders rights, like being girl, gender and sex are different. Fourth wave of Feminism started from 2008/2014 onwards it includes movements like #METOO - against sexual abuse, sexual harassments, sex crimes etc.

Now the belief , concept of being a feminist is changing. The word 'feminist' is no more inclined towards women Only. Feminism in today's world Includes all genders, it not only demanding for women but for all genders.
Many people have misconception that Feminism is only related to women, it's not only about females but men too. Feminism at it's core is about equality of men and women. Many people offer up the argument that women are not the same as men, so there can't be equality. It's critical to understand that same doesn't mean equal. We are born with different genitals but that makes us male and female, it's a process of socialization that we will become men and women. Socialization process involves the construction of masculinity and femininity.

Actually I wanted to add one more thing which I noticed or experienced personally about males, I didn't wanted to point out any gender .I asked to my male and female friends and I'm glad to listen them, they also want or believes in equality between all genders but some of them were afraid to call themselves a feminist and some of them admitted that yes! They are feminist, this is Change ...which I seen or experienced ... society is changing.

''It's absolutely men's responsibility
To fight sexism too''
            - Barack Obama (former US president)
He is not afraid to call himself a feminist he openly said himself a femenist ,he is against inequality among various genders, their roles , their social construct , societial norms.

So, Feminism/femenist in today's world is asking for just and equitable society which will encompass every single person. They should get equal opportunities and should go further together they are not competitors . They are meant to be together and work together. Being a feminist simply means believing in equal rights for all genders. Its not about hating men , it's not about women being better than  men.

In the end I like to  sum up this by these words:-  Feminism is for everyone. Feminism equals to humanity, it's nothing to do with gender.
